方润华 博士
Dr. FONG Yun Wah

方润华博士原籍广东东莞市，1924年12月出生于广东河源市蓝口镇。现任香港协成行集团主席、方树福堂基金及方润华基金主席，香港中旅国际投资有限公司独立非执行董事等。
方润华博士于本港及国内外社会兼职甚多，现仍身兼：香港特区太平绅士、香港经济促进会主席、香港国际投资总商会特别顾问、香港红十字会顾问及香港培华教育基金委员、香港儿童健康基金副赞助人、香港东莞同乡总会首席荣誉总监和中华慈善总会名誉会长、中国青少年发展基金会名誉理事，中国海外交流协会常务理事及广东、安徽等省的海外联谊会或海外交流协会顾问，以及本港、国内外数十所大学聘请他为名誉教授、顾问教授、客座教授或校董会成员等。他还曾历任香港地产建设商会副会长、东华三院首总理、保良局主席等。
由于他长期从事兴学助教、扶贫济困等社会公益慈善事业，得到国内外各地区、社会各界的好评，获奖无数。先后荣获第四届全国十大「扶贫状元」、国家民政部颁授中华慈善奖、国内外15所大学颁授荣誉博士或荣誉院士、14个城市颁授荣誉市民及香港特区政府颁授「银紫荆星章」等。鉴于他对社会的贡献， 1994年经国际小行星组织批准，将5198号小行星命名为 「方润华星」。

Dr. Fong Yun Wah, Henry, was born in December 1924 in the township of Lankou, HeYuan city, Guangdong Province, China. He is currently the Chairman of the Hong Kong Hip Shing Hong Group of Companies and also the Chairman of the Fong Shu Fook Tong Foundation and the Fong's Family Foundation. He is also the independent non-executive director of the China Travel International Investment Hong Kong Limited.

Dr. Fong holds and serves many capacities in Hong Kong, China and overseas. He is currently the JP of the Hong Kong SAR, chairman of Hong Kong Economic Exchange, special advisor of the HK International investment general chamber of commerce, Hong Kong Red Cross advisor and Hong Kong Pei Hua Education Foundation, Vice-patron of the Hong Kong Child health Foundation, honorary principal supervisor of Hong Kong Dongguan native association and honorary president of China Charity Federation, honorary executive of the China youth development Foundation, standing committee executive of the China Overseas Exchange, and Advisor of Guangdong, Anhui provinces overseas liaison or exchange associations. Also, appointed and served as honorary professor, consulting professor or fellow of the council of several universities in China and Hong Kong. Dr. Fong was the Vice-president of the Real Estate Development Association of Hong Kong, Director of the Tung Wah Group of hospitals and Chairman of Po Leung Kuk.

As Dr. Fong has served on long term basis sponsoring and supporting education, charity and community services, he is respectfully and widely acknowledged by all walks of society in China and Hong Kong and being awarded of numerous prizes. He was awarded 4 times the prestigious Ten Top National Poverty Alleviator of China, China philanthropic award bestowed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the Chinese Government, Honorary doctorate degree and Fellowship conferred by 15 universities in China, HK and overseas, Honorary citizenships title of 14 cities in China, U.S.A. and Canada, and the Silver Bauhinia medal by the HKSAR government, and other honorary awards. Because of his significant contribution to the community, the International Committee for the Naming of Asteroid/Comet honored Dr. Fong the entitlement of the asteroid 5198 in the name of "Fong Yun Wah".
